Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information The Daily Box Score ("the App") collects, how it's used, and the choices available to you. The App itself does not require you to create an account and does not directly collect your name, email address, or other personal contact information.

Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App uses a small number of third-party services to operate. Each of these services may collect limited information as described below, governed by their own privacy policies.

• Google AdMob — used to display ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID), general device information, and approximate location, in order to serve and measure advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
• RevenueCat — used to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription information (such as which products you've purchased and subscription status) tied to an anonymous identifier, not your name or email. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
• Google Play / App Store billing — actual payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play (and, in the future, the Apple App Store). The App does not see or store your payment card details.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — when a Pro subscriber taps "Tell me more" on a card, the text of that stat is sent to Anthropic's API to generate additional context. No personal information is included in this request.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores some information locally on your device to remember your preferences between sessions, including:

• Which stat cards you've already seen (to avoid repeats)
• Your favorited cards, if you're a Pro subscriber
• Your selected theme and category filter preferences
• Whether you've enabled daily reminder notifications

This information stays on your device and is not sent to any server operated by the App's developer.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder feature, the App schedules a local notification on your device. This does not require sending your information to a remote server — the reminder is scheduled and delivered entirely on-device via your phone's operating system.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

• You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (for example, "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in Android's Google Settings).
• You can disable notification permissions at any time through your device's app settings.
• Purchasing "Remove Ads" or a Pro plan removes ad-related data collection going forward.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
